چکیده

 
زمینه و هدف: پایین بودن میزان انجام غربالگری ماموگرافی در میان زنان ساکن روستا به‌عنوان یکی از نگرانی‌های مهم حوزه بهداشت عمومی مطرح است. این مطالعه باهدف بررسی رابطه ویژگی‌های جمعیت شناختی و رفتاری با خودکارآمدی درک شده، ترس و حمایت اجتماعی در انجام غربالگری ماموگرافی در زنان ساکن روستا انجام شد.
مواد و روش­ها: این مطالعه مقطعی در سال ۱۴۰۳ در شهرستان مینودشت بر روی زنان ساکن در روستا انجام شد. با استفاده از فرمول کوکران و روش نمونه‌گیری خوشه‌ای دومرحله‌ای، تعداد ۳۰۸ نفر به‌عنوان نمونه انتخاب شدند. داده‌ها به‌صورت خود گزارش دهی از طریق پرسشنامه‌های استاندارد خودکارآمدی، حمایت اجتماعی، ترس، اطلاعات جمعیت شناختی و انجام ماموگرافی جمع‌آوری شد. تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه ۲۱ و سطح معناداری کمتر از 05/0 انجام شد.
یافته­ها: سطح تحصیلات بالاتر و وضعیت اقتصادی بهتر با حمایت اجتماعی رابطه مثبت معنادار داشتند. زنانی که هرگز ورزش نمی‌کردند، خودکارآمدی پایین‌تری در انجام ماموگرافی داشتند. میزان ترس از ماموگرافی با افزایش سن بیشتر می‌شد (03/0 p <) اما رابطه معناداری با انجام غربالگری نداشت (202/0p =). افسردگی و سابقه خانوادگی سرطان پستان تنها عوامل معنادار مرتبط با انجام غربالگری بودند (002/0p =).
نتیجه‌گیری: تقویت حمایت اجتماعی و خودکارآمدی، به‌ویژه در زنان با تحصیلات و وضعیت اقتصادی پایین، می‌تواند مشارکت زنان ساکن روستا در غربالگری ماموگرافی را افزایش دهد. آموزش‌ها باید برافزایش اعتمادبه‌نفس، تشویق به فعالیت بدنی، کاهش مشکلات روانی و تقویت حمایت اجتماعی تمرکز کنند، به‌ویژه برای زنانی که سابقه خانوادگی سرطان دارند.

Investigating the Relationship Between Demographic and Behavioral Characteristics and Self-Efficacy, Fear, and Social Support Related to Women's Participation in Mammography Screening

Introduction: The low uptake of mammography screening among rural women poses a significant public health challenge. This study aimed to examine the relationship between demographic and behavioral characteristics with perceived self-efficacy, fear, and social support regarding mammography screening among women living in rural areas.
Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in 2024 in Minoodasht County among rural women. Utilizing Cochran’s formula and a two-stage cluster sampling method, a total of 308 participants were selected. Data were collected using standardized questionnaires measuring self-efficacy, social support, fear, demographic information, and mammography behavior. Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 21, with a significance level set at p < 0.05.
Results: Higher educational attainment and better economic status were significantly associated with greater social support. Women who did not engage in physical activity reported lower self-efficacy regarding mammography screening. Fear of mammography increased with age (p < 0.03) but was not significantly associated with actual screening behavior (p = 0.202). Depression and a family history of breast cancer were the only statistically significant factors associated with undergoing breast cancer screening (p = 0.002).
Conclusion: Enhancing social support and self-efficacy—particularly among women with lower educational attainment and socioeconomic status—may increase participation rate in mammography screening among rural populations. Educational interventions should focus on boosting self-confidence, promoting an active lifestyle, reducing psychological barriers such as depression, and strengthening support networks, especially for women with a family history of breast cancer.
