چکیده

زمینه و هدف: درد پس از سزارین، شایع‌ترین شکایت پس از عمل است و با شواهد کم مشخص شده که گاباپنتین، درد حاد پس از سزارین را کاهش می‌دهد. هدف این مطالعه، بررسی تأثیر گاباپنتین در کاهش درد پس از عمل سزارین، است.
مواد و روش‌ها: مطالعه کار آزمایی بالینی تصادفی دوسوکور در زنان مراجعه‌کننده به بیمارستان مبینی که قصد عمل سزارین الکتیو با بی‌حسی اسپاینال را داشتند، وارد مطالعه شدند. بیماران را به دو گروه با تخصیص تصادفی تقسیم شد که شامل گروه کنترل (پلاسبو)(1 کپسول پلاسبو) و گروه مداخله (گاباپنتین) (1 کپسول گاباپنتین 300 میلی‌گرم) بود. هر دو گروه دارو را به‌صورت خوراکی، بعد عمل سزارین دریافت کردند. بعد از عمل سزارین، شدت درد بیماران در ساعات 2، 4، 6، 12 و 24 بعد از عمل سزارین بر اساس معیارVAS (Visual Analog Scale) ثبت شد. آنالیز آماری با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS20 در سطح معنی‌دار بودن 0.05 p< صورت گرفت.
یافته‌ها: در گروه مداخله (گاباپنتین) نسبت به گروه کنترل (پلاسبو) تسکین درد بیشتری در طول 24 ساعت اول مشاهده شد (p=0.043). بیماران دو گروه ازنظر دفعات استفاده از مواد مخدر با یکدیگر اختلاف معناداری نداشتند.
نتیجه‌گیری: این مطالعه نشان داده است که مصرف گاباپنتین، موجب تسکین درد بیمار گشته است.

Investigating the Effect of Gabapentin on pain reduction Following Elective Cesarean Section: A Randomized Clinical Trial

Background: Postoperative pain is the most common postoperative complaint following cesarean section. While gabapentin reduces acute post-cesarean pain, evidence for its efficacy remains limited. This study aimed to investigate the effect of gabapentin in reducing post-cesarean section pain.
Materials and Methods: This randomized, double-blind clinical trial study, was conducted on women scheduled for elective cesarean section under spinal anesthesia at Mobini Hospital. Participants were randomly assigned to receive either a single 300 mg gabapentin capsule (intervention group) or a placebo capsule (control group) administered the drug orally after cesarean section. Postoperative pain intensity was assessed using a Visual Analog Scale (VAS) at 2, 4, 6, 12, and 24 hours postoperatively. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 20, with a significance level set at p < 0.05.
Results: Patients in the gabapentin group reported significantly lower pain scores over the first 24 hours compared to the placebo group (p = 0.043). No significant difference was observed in the requirement for supplemental opioid analgesics between the two groups.
Conclusion: A single preoperative dose of 300 mg gabapentin is effective in reducing acute postoperative pain in patients undergoing elective cesarean section.
