چکیده
زمینه و هدف: ویروس جدید SARS-CoV-2، عامل بیماری کرونا ویروس 2019 (کووید 19) است. این ویروس به بیش از 220 کشور جهان گسترش پیداکرده و بیش از 700 میلیون نفر به این بیماری مبتلا شدهاند. این مطالعه بهمنظور بررسی فراوانی سرمی آنتیبادیهای IgM و IgG ضدSARS-CoV-2 در بین کارکنان بهداشتی و درمانی بیمارستان واسعی سبزوار انجام شد.
مواد و روشها: پژوهش حاضر از نوع مقطعی و توصیفی-تحلیلی و بر روی 165 نفر از کارکنان مراقبتهای بهداشتی و درمانی بیمارستان واسعی سبزوار در اسفندماه 1399 انجامشدهاست. جهت مقایسه، افراد موردمطالعه در 3 گروه کادر درمانی (95 نفر)، خدماتی (44 نفر) و اداری (26 نفر) قرار گرفتند. از هر شرکتکننده، مقدار 5 میلیلیتر خون، جمعآوری شد. سپس، با روش الایزا سطح سرمی آنتیبادیهای IgM/IgG ضد SARS-CoV-2 اندازهگیریشد. دادهها در نرمافزار SPSS نسخه 24 آنالیز و 0.05P≤ بهعنوان سطح معنیداری در نظر گرفته شد.
یافتهها: از مجموع 165 شرکتکننده، 58.2% زن و 41.8% مرد بودند. میانگین سنی افراد 7.76±35.84 بود. نتیجه آزمایش آنتیبادی IgM ضد SARS-CoV-2 در 9 نفر (5.5 درصد) و آزمایش آنتیبادی IgG ضد SARS-CoV-2 در 106 نفر (64.2 درصد) مثبت بود. همچنین، کادر خدماتی و کارکنان درمانی بهطور قابلتوجهی بیشتر از کارکنان اداری آزمایش آنتیبادی مثبت داشتند (p=0.03).
نتیجهگیری: طبق نتایج به دست آمده، 5.5% افراد موردمطالعه عفونت فعال و 64.2% افراد سابقه عفونت با ویروس SARS-CoV-2 داشتند. دلیل این موضوع میتواند مواجهه بیشتر کادر بهداشتی-درمانی، فقدان واکسن مؤثر و همچنین کمبود تجهیزات پیشگیریکننده از آلودگی با ویروس مذکور باشد.

Seroprevalence and Determinants of SARS-CoV-2 Antibodies Among Healthcare Workers in Sabzevar Vasei Hospital

Introduction: The novel SARS-CoV-2 virus is the causative agent of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). This virus has spread to over 220 countries, infecting more than 700 million individuals worldwide. This study aimed to investigate the serum prevalence of IgM and IgG anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies among healthcare workers at Sabzevar Vasei Hospital.
Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional descriptive-analytical study was conducted on 165 healthcare workers at Sabzevar Vasei Hospital in March 2021. Participants were divided into three groups for comparison: medical staff (95 individuals), service staff (44 individuals), and administrative staff (26 individuals). A 5 mL blood sample was collected from each participant, and serum levels of IgM and IgG antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 were measured using ELISA. Data were analyzed using SPSS software (version 16), with statistical significance set at P ≤ 0.05.
Results: Of a total of 165 participants, 58.2% were women and 41.8% men, with a mean age of 35.84 ± 7.76 years. IgM antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 were positive in 9 individuals (5.5%), while IgG antibodies were positive in 106 individuals (64.2%). Additionally, service staff and medical staff had significantly higher rates of positive antibody tests compared to administrative staff (P = 0.03).
Conclusion: The findings indicate that 5.5% of participants had an active infection, while 64.2% had evidence of a prior SARS-CoV-2 infection. This higher seroprevalence among healthcare workers may be attributed to greater occupational exposure, the lack of an effective vaccine at the time, and insufficient infection prevention equipment.
