چکیده
زمینه و هدف: تاکنون مطالعات مختلفی در مورد کاستن درد تزریق با کشش، فشار و روشهای مکمل انجامشده است ولی مطالعات محدودی در رابطه با ارتباط بین فتوتایپ پوستی و درد وجود دارد. لذا این مطالعه باهدف تعیین ارتباط بین انواع فتوتایپ پوستی و شدت درد ناشی از تزریق عضلانی دگزامتازون انجام گردید.
مواد و روشها: : مطالعه مقطعی بر روی 401 بیمار انتخابشده به روش در دسترس در واحد تزریقات بیمارستان ولایت قزوین انجام شد. شدت درد به کمک معیار NAS اندازهگیری شد. درد بیماران یکبار حین و یکبار بلافاصله پس از تزریق ارزیابی و ثبت شد. فتوتایپ پوستی بیماران شرکتکننده نیز با استفاده از معیار پیشنهادی فیتزپاتریک تعیین شد. تجزیهوتحلیل دادههای جمعآوریشده به وسیله نرمافزار spss (نسخه 24) انجام شد.
یافتهها: میانگین سنی شرکتکنندگان در مطالعه حاضر 5/38 سال بود. درمجموع % 1/46 از شرکتکنندگان در مطالعه را مردان و% 9/53 را زنان تشکیل دادند. برای بررسی اثر فتوتایپ برشدت درد از آزمون آنالیز واریانس یکطرفه استفادهشده است که نتایج بهدستآمده بیانگر آن است که فتوتایپهای مختلف پوستی بر درد تأثیر ندارند. (05/0p>).
نتیجهگیری: نتایج مطالعه حاضر نشان داد که فتوتایپ پوستی، با درد ناشی از تزریق عضلانی داروی دگزامتازون ارتباط ندارد. بااینوجود با توجه به کمبود مطالعات گذشته و همچنین محدودیتهای مطالعه، بررسی سایر عوامل مؤثر بر درد مانند اضطراب یا فن تزریق توصیه میشود.

Investigating the relationship between skin phototypes and pain severity caused by intramuscular injection of dexamethasone: a cross-sectional study

Introduction: Previous studies have explored various methods to reduce injection pain, including techniques such as stretching, pressure application, and complementary approaches. However, there is limited research specifically examining the relationship between skin phototype and pain severity. This study aims to investigate the relationship between skin phototypes and the intensity of pain caused by intramuscular injection of dexamethasone.
Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted involving 401 patients selected through convenience sampling at the injection unit of Qazvin Province Hospital. Pain intensity was measured using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Patients' pain levels were evaluated and recorded once during and immediately after the injection. The skin phototypes of the participating patients were classified according to Fitzpatrick's classification. Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 24.
Results: The average age of participants was 38.5 years, with 46.1% identified as male and 53.9% as female. One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was employed to assess the effect of skin phototype on pain intensity. The findings indicated that different skin phototypes did not significantly affect pain severity (p > 0.05).
Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that skin phototype is not associated with pain severity caused by intramuscular injection of dexamethasone. Given the lack of prior research on this topic and the limitations of this study, further investigation into other factors influencing pain, such as anxiety levels or injection techniques, is recommended.
