[English]
Introduction: Organizational intelligence and self-efficacy play a crucial role in advancing organizational goals and can be influenced by various psychological approaches. The purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy on organizational intelligence and job self-efficacy among employees of the National Bank.
Materials and Methods: The research employed a semi-experimental design with a pre-test-post-test approach and a control group. The statistical population consisted of employees from the National Bank of Mashhad. A total of 30 participants were selected through purposeful sampling and then randomly assigned to either the experimental or control group. The research utilized Albrecht's Organizational Intelligence Questionnaire (2002) and the Job Self-Efficacy Scale by Riggs and Knight (1994) as assessment tools. The experimental group received eight 75-minute sessions of cognitive therapy based on mindfulness, following the protocol established by Kabat-Zinn (2001), while the control group was placed on a waiting list. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS-23 software, employing multivariate covariance analysis.
Results: The findings indicated a significant difference between the average scores of organizational intelligence and job self-efficacy in the intervention and control group employees following the intervention. Specifically, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy led to increased organizational intelligence and job self-efficacy among National Bank employees (P < 0.001).
Conclusion: Given the effectiveness of this approach on the aforementioned variables, it is recommended to implement mindfulness-based cognitive therapy as a strategic method to enhance the individual and psychological capabilities of employees.
