چکیده

زمینه و هدف: با توجه به شیوع اعتیاد به اینترنت در دوره آموزش مجازی و پیامدهای آن در میان دانشجویان، این مطالعه با هدف بررسی ارتباط اعتیاد به اینترنت با سلامت روان دانشجویان دانشگاه­های علوم پزشکی سراسر کشور انجام گرفت.
مواد و روش­ها: : این مطالعه توصیفی- مقطعی با روش نمونه­گیری در دسترس بر روی 486 نفر از دانشجویان علوم پزشکی سراسر کشور در سال 1400-1401 انجام گردید. برای جمع­آوری داده­ها از پرسش‌نامه «استاندارد سلامت عمومی» و پرسش‌نامه «اعتیاد به اینترنت یانگ» استفاده شد. برای تحلیل داده­ها از آزمون‌های کروسکال والیس، کای­اسکوئر و رگرسیون چندگانه استفاده شد. تحلیل داده­ها با نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه 24 و سطح معنی­داری 05/0 انجام گردید.
یافته­ها: نمره کل سلامت عمومی 04/14± 20/24بود. 4/39 درصد دارای اختلالات خفیف، 7/8 درصد دارای اختلال سلامت متوسط و 9/1 درصد افراد دارای سلامت روان وخیم بودند. 4/73 درصد نمونه­ها عدم اعتیاد، 5/24 درصد در معرض اعتیاد و 1/2 درصد نمونه­ها دارای اعتیاد به اینترنت بودند. نتایج آزمون کروسکال والیس نشان داد که بین کلیه مشخصات دموگرافیک با سلامت روان و اعتیاد به اینترنت ارتباط آماری معنی­داری وجود نداشت (p>=0/05).
نتیجه‌گیری: : نتایج مطالعه حاضر نشان داد که استفاده اعتیادآور از اینترنت، بر اساس نمره خرده‌مقیاس­های پرسش‌نامه سلامت عمومی می­تواند بر سلامت روان دانشجویان تأثیر منفی داشته باشد از این‌رو به‌منظور استفاده صحیح از اینترنت بهتر است آموزش و فرهنگ­سازی مناسب صورت پذیرد و همچنین روش­های مناسبی را جایگزین شیوه­های نادرست استفاده از اینترنت برای دانشجویان و آینده‌سازان مملکت کنند.

Assessment of the Relationship Between Internet Addiction in Virtual Education Course and the Mental Health in the Medical Sciences Students

Introduction: Given the prevalence of Internet addiction and its associated consequences, this study aims to explore the ethical challenges posed by this epidemic by assessing the relationship between Internet addiction in the virtual education course, and the mental health of students in the Medical Sciences.
Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional descriptive study involved 486 medical students selected through convenience sampling during the 2022-2023 academic year. Data were collected using the General Health Questionnaire and the Young Internet Addiction Questionnaire. Statistical analyses, including Kruskal-Wallis tests, Chi-square tests, and regression analysis, were performed using SPSS-24, with a significance level at 0.05t.
Results: The mean general health score was 24.20 ± 14.04. Among participants, 39.4% exhibited mild disorders, 8.7% had moderate health disorders, and 1.9% experienced severe mental health issues. Notably, 73.4% of respondents reported no Internet addiction, while 24.5% were identified as having mild addiction and 2.1% as having severe Internet addiction. The Kruskal-Wallis test indicated no statistically significant relationship between demographic characteristics, mental health, and Internet addiction (p > 0.05
Conclusion: The findings suggest that the addictive use of the Internet negatively impacts students' mental health, as evidenced by the scores on the General Health Questionnaire subscales. To promote the correct use of the Internet, it is crucial to provide appropriate education and cultural guidance and address maladaptive Internet practices among students.
