Background and objectives: Low quality of life and high stress are the most frequently stated problems that faced by in mothers of children with autism spectrum disorders. This research aims to understand the role of emotion regulation and personality traits as predictors of quality of life and general health in a sample of mothers of children diagnosed with autistic spectrum disorders.Materials & Methods: This study was a descriptive-correlation design. It was done in Tehran in 1396.Eighty mothers participated through convenient sampling. Mothers answered a questionnaire on Emotion Regulation Strategies, General Health, Five-Factor Inventory (brief form), Who-Quality of life. Data was analyzed by SPSS-23. Stepwise regression analysis was used to analyze the data.Results: Results show that the emotion regulation strategies as repression and personality traits like extroversion and neurosis predict general health and quality of life in mothers. Results were significant at the p = 0.05 level.Conclusion: Our results indicated the significant role of emotion regulation strategies and personality traits in general health and quality of life. Developing interventions in emotion regulation could be help to improve mother’s general health. Hence the design of studies in the field of setting up the excitement of mothers and strengthen positive personality characteristics, such as the extroversion can improve the quality of life and general health.

Background and Objective: Achieving a healthy community depends on the health of the healthy family, provided that people have mental health and have good relationships with each other. Hence, healthy relationships between family members will certainly have positive effects. Important factors will always be the source of stress. This research aims to determine the role of mediating force Psychology was about satisfaction with life with personality traits and social problem solving styles. Method: The statistical population of this study was married people who were referred to the neighborhood of Tehran in 2012, 308 people were selected by multi-stage cluster sampling in one and four regions. And personalization features such as SPSI-R, Life satisfaction (LSI), and Ranjara Force's questionnaire.Findings: Based on the results of path analysis, most of the direct coefficients are significant and the indirect coefficients of coping style, stability, flexibility, independence, sensitivity and association with life satisfaction are significant through the variable of mental force. Also, the direct coefficients of the median variable with the main dependent variable of the model, life satisfaction, are also significant at the level of 0.01.Discussion: The results showed that levels of life satisfaction are not just a secondary phenomenon, which is a product of the positive experiences of life or personality characteristics, and so on.

Background and Objective: Heart disease, a disorder psycho-physiological risk factors in addition to physical, psychological factors such as personality traits and coping strategies in the incidence and severity it is very important. The purpose of this study was to investigate the personality traits and Coping Styles in healthy men and women compared to those with heart disease outpatient. Materials & Methods: The methodology of the study is causal-comparative research. The study population consisted of all heart disease outpatients and their relatives in May 2015 to the hospital Madani had come out of them, 50 patients with heart disease outpatients (26 males and 24 females) 50 healthy subjects (28 males and 22 females) were matched with healthy controls. The Eysenck Personality questionnaires (EPQ-R) and coping styles of Folkman and Lazarus (WCQ) study was conducted on groups. To analyze the data, descriptive, multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) and software version 18 (SPSS18) was used. significant level α= 0/01 were considered as well. Findings: The results showed that people with heart diseases of neuroticism and psychopathic sense of difference with normal group (P<0/001). The emotion-focused coping styles are different between the two groups problem-focused coping styles between them but no difference was found. About the role of gender also showed that extraversion and emotional and problem focused coping styles between men and women patients there was a significant difference (P<0/001). Discussion & Conclusion: The results showed that people with heart disease outpatient those anxious, fearful, violent, and fast developing anxiety, depression and aggression are higher than in healthy individuals deal with problems Styles emotion-oriented coping pressure.

Background:Commitment is one of the most important components of a successful marriage that without it, the marital commitment will be superficial, apparent and without direction. In this case, the couples are not able to experience the depth of love and intimacy which create because of loyalty, commitment, and marriage. The present study aimed to investigate the relationship between marital commitments and personality traits. Materials & Methods: This study is a descriptive study of correlation. The study population consisted of all the married staff of welfare agencies in North Khorasan Province in 2013. The sample consisted 155 (67 males and 88 females) persons who were selected by multi-stage cluster sampling method. Data gathering was conducted by using standard questionnaires of Adams and Jonas Marital Commitment inventory (DCI) (1997) and McCrae & Costa personality Five-Factor Inventory (NEO-FFI) (1991). Data analysis was performed by SPSS v.18 software and using Pearson Correlation and linear regression methods. Results: Results showed that personality traits of extroversion, adaptability and responsibility have positive and significant relationship (0.217, 0.534 and 0.529 respectively), and personality trait of neuroticism and openness to experience have negative and significant relationship (-0.49 and -0.59 respectively) with marital commitment. Findings also showed that neuroticism, adaptability, openness to experience, responsibility and extroversion which explained changes of marital commitment by 0.24, 0.28, 0.34, 0.28 and 0.04, respectively, are significant at 0.99 confidences. Conclusions: The findings showed that personality traits of persons are important factors in predicting their marital commitment. According to the findings, it is recommended that the role of personality factors as an affecting factor on the marital relationship can be investigated much more.
