Background: The present study was conducted with the aim of comparing the effectiveness of mindfulness-based therapy and schema therapy on distress tolerance in students with a history of suicide attempts.Materials and Methods: The research method was semi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test design with two experimental groups and one control group and the statistical population included students had a history of suicide attempts in 1400.With the available sampling method, 45 people were randomly selected and placed in the control group and experimental groups, and all three groups completed the Simmons and Gaher (2005) distress tolerance scale. Then, one of the test groups was exposed to schema therapy and the second test group was subjected to cognitive therapy based on mindfulness. in the end the experimental groups, completed the distress tolerance scale. after one month of the post-test, the follow-up stage was conducted and finally the obtained data were analyzed SPSS.21 software and descriptive statistics indicators and variance analysis of multivariate repeated measures.Results: The results indicated the effectiveness of two interventions on distress tolerance; according to the values of the average score difference in stages of measurement in the groups, the treatment based on mindfulness compared to schema therapy, for the component of regulating efforts to relieve distress and for the other three components, schema therapy is more effective in students with a history of action has committed suicide.Conclusion: The combined use of both treatment methods is suggested to adolescent therapists in increasing the distress tolerance of students with a history of committing suicide.

Background: Family performance is one of the most important indices warranting the family life quality and psychological health and shows family’s coping skill against distresses, conflicts and problems. So the present research seeks to study the efficacy of an education based on schema therapy in married women.Materials & Methods: the present research was quasi experimental study with pre- and post- tests and control group. Statistical society was Tehran 5th district family counseling center married women’s clients. Sample size was estimated 30 persons with G*power software. Volunteers through available sampling after considering inclusion criteria were randomly assigned into two experimental and control groups. Family performance in both groups assisted by Mc Master Family assessment device (FAD) (1960). The experimental group received 13 educational sessions based on schema therapy. After the training and one month later, the participants completed again the questionnaire. The data was analyzed by means of spss software version 24 and MANCOVA at a significant level of 0.05. Results: analysis by MANCOVA showed family performance in experimental group after education were significantly different compaired to control group (p<0.05).Conclusion: the results of this research showed significant improvement in family performance in experimental group compaired to beginning of the survey. So education based on schema therapy was effective on family performance.

Background & Aim: The model of Schema Therapy basically designed for the pathology of parenting and by focusing on the interpersonal relationships from childhood to adulthood has leaded to a decrease level in the early maladaptive schemas . Mothers of the children suffering deafness are pron to being depression and axiety.By studying schema modes and coping styles of these people and by identifying schemas type and presenting schema therapy techniques we can lower the level of their depression and anxity. The aim of present study was to the effectiveness of schema therapy (ST) on psychological well-being of Mothers of the children suffering deafness.Methods & Materails: The present study is tentative type research with pre-test and a post-test with a control group. The statistical population of this study included the mothers that their children had gotten registered in of rehabilitation centers of deaf children. The statistical sample of this research consisted of 30 people that selected by the availability sampling and voluntary method. These people were randomly placed in control and experimental group,15 at each group. In pupose to determine the psychological well-being Ryff questionnaire was used respectively.
