Introduction: Based on high prevalence of sexual dysfunction in menopausal woman, this research was performed to investigate the effect of the medicinal plants on sexual function in menopausal women.Materials and Methods: In this systematic review of clinical trials, Persian relevant articles were identified through a systematic search of databases from 2000 to 2021 ,using the keywords of (female sexual dysfunction, sexual function, sexual satisfaction, sexual behavior, sexual activity, menopause, Post menopause, Herbal medicine , Medicinal plants, herbal materials, phytoestrogens, phytotherapy, Randomized Clinical Trials.The Jadad scale was used to assess the quality of the retrieved articlesResults: In final twelve articles were analyzed. The studied plants were ginkgo biloba, fennel, st johns wort, palm pollen, fenugreek, afrodit, , hop, black cohosh, lavender, ginseng, saffron, red clover, Tribulus terrestris, nigella sativa and vitex agnus castus and hybrid aromatherapy (fennel, Heracleum persicum, salvia officinalis, bergamot, lavender and geranium) that were studied on different dimensions of sexual function.Conclusion: Based on the results of studies, most plants were effective in improving sexual function. Although due to the limited number of studies performed for each plant, it was not possible to perform meta-analysis in this study, so it is recommended to conduct more studies in relation to each plant to provide sufficient evidence to decide on the use of each Herbs are offered as less dangerous and less expensive treatments to improve sexual function in menopausal women.

Background and Aim: The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and emotion-oriented therapy on self-care, sexual function in type 2 diabetic patients.Materials and Methods: The present study was applied in terms of purpose, with pre-test-post-test design, which used a quasi-experimental research design. The statistical population of the study included all people with type 2 diabetes who referred to Sabzevar Diabetes Clinic in 1398. From the mentioned statistical population, 45 people were selected by convenience and randomly divided into 3 groups of 15 people (2 experimental groups and one control group). The experiments of both groups in three stages of pre-test and post-test and follow-up to The self-care questionnaires of Tobert Hampson and Glasgow (2000), the Female Sexual Function Questionnaire (FSFI) and the Male Sexual Function Questionnaire (MSHQ) were answered. In this study, descriptive data analysis was used to describe the collected data and the data were analyzed using SPSS statistical software.Results: The results showed that mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and emotion-oriented therapy are effective on self-care, sexual function in type 2 diabetic patients and there was no significant difference in their effectiveness.Conclusion: Cognitive therapies based on mindfulness and emotion-oriented therapy can be used to alleviate the psychological problems of diabetic patients.Keywords: Cognitive

Backgrounds & Objectives: Patients who are under haemodialysis experience a lot of sexual problems which can lead to a reduction in their quality of life. Peer support groups are a kind of social supports that in which peers who have similar experience present some advice to others to enhance their quality of life. The aim of the present study is to determine the effect of peer support group on sexual functionin patients treated with haemodialysis. Material & Method: A clinical trial research with two cases and control groups was performed on 64 patients undergoing haemodialysis in Vasei hospital of Sabzevar in 2013. The sampling was random. Patients were divided into two groups of intervention and control using the block permutation .The Participants attended 8 weekly sessions comprising 2 hours each week. The topic was according to the patients’ needs and interests. Research tools were: demographic questionnaire, sexual function of part dialysis patients, life quality Questionnaire (KDQOL-SFTM). For data analysis, descriptive and deductive (paied t- test and independent t-test) statistics SPSS version 18 was used. Results: After the completion of the study, there was not a significant difference between sexual health situation scores of two groups (case and control) (p value>0.05). After attending peer support group in case group there were not a significant differences in mental health situation scores (p value>0.05) . Conclusions: According to the results of this study, attending peer support group in hemodialysis patients will improve their sexual function. But this change was not significant.
