Introduction: One of the hospital’s evaluation methods is the use of national accreditation standards, which its consideration causes enhancement in both patient safety and quality of services. It is essential for managers and personals whom involved in accreditation to have a positive knowledge and attitude. This study was done to assess Nurses Knowledge, Attitude, and Comment on Hospital Accreditation and its Impact on Patient Care Quality in Imam Khomeini Hospital in Sarab. Materials and Methods: This research is a descriptive crosssectional study which has been done. In order to collectthe information, we used the corrected questionnaire of azami et al. Imam Khomeini hospital nurses 126 mirage with a minimum of one year of work experience to the classified random sampling method in this study. Data analysis were done using SPSS software. Results: The average knowledge score was 36 points (18.22), attitude was 60 points (32.76), comment was 50 points (25.98) and nursing care was 5 points (2.72). The average score for knowledge, attitude and commentshowed that a modest positive about attitude, knowledge, andpositive comment was seen. Conclusion: Enhancement of knowledge and creation of a positiveperspective about accreditation may reduce anxiety and stress caused by theaccreditation and the quality of nurses care of the patient is alsocan increase.

Background & Objectives: Unstable condition of clinical situation of patients in Intensive Care Unit requires made nurses be competent in decision making. Despite the importance of clinical decision making in nursing, yet this is not the appropriate place in the profession. This study was conducted to evaluate the clinical decision making of nurses in Intensive Care Units of educational hospitals in Mashhad.
Materials & method: This descriptive study was conducted through stratified random on 233 nurses employed in educational hospitals of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. PDAQ questionnaire was used to collect data. Data analysis was done using descriptive and inferential statistics (t -test, correlation and ANOVA) in SPSS V.16.
Results: The results showed that nurses participation was in the average level at all phases of clinical decision making consist of identifying the problem (33.1±10.7), present of the solutions (34.1±10.3) and implement the solution (32.1±9.7). Nurses were acquired the highest score in the phase of present and evaluation of alternative solutions and lowest score in the phase of implement the solution.
Conclusion: According to results of this study, nurses’ participation was in the average level at all phases of clinical decision making. It seems that nursing education programs are not effective to enhance clinical decision making skills; therefore, the results of this study can be used to improve clinical decision making in nursing education and continuing education programs.

Backgrounds Since nurses play important role in taking care of end-stage patients, it is important to consider their attitudes toward euthanasia. The current study aimed at examining the attitudes of nurses working in Zahedan University of Medical Sciences, Zahedan, Iran, toward euthanasia.Methods & Materials The current cross sectional study enrolled 157 nurses working in the teaching hospitals affiliated to Zahedan University of Medical Sciences in 2014.Data were gathered using the euthanasia attitude scale (EAS) and a demographic data short-form. The data were analyzed using the statistical tests by SPSS version 17.Results Results of the current study showed that 34% and 66% of the nurses had negative and positive attitudes toward euthanasia, respectively.Conclusion The results of the study showed that most of the nurses had negative viewpoint on euthanasia. Thereby, no significant relationship was observed between the results of EAS and demographic variables ; further studies should be conducted focusing other variable such as knowledge, function, and role of the nurses.

Background & Objectives: Nurses are the individuals who have been exposed to damage caused by improper anxiety. This stress can affect the mental health and nursing performance. So the present study aimed to investigate the effect of emotional intelligence on the anxiety levels of nurses working in hospitals of Sabzevar. Materials & Methods: In this randomized trial, 135 nurses working in Sabzevar hospitals were enrolled and then randomly were assigned to intervention and control groups. The samples were completed demographic questionnaire, questionnaire of emotional intelligence (Bar-One), and Spiel-Berger’s Situational and Characteristic anxiety questionnaires. Then the components of emotional intelligence were trained for intervention group. In termination of training questionnaires were completed and analyzed by T-test and non-parametrical tests and pResults: Totally, 80% of samples were female and average age was 32.11±6.68 years. Before intervention the deference between groups was not significant (p<0.05). After intervention a negative relationship was found for emotional intelligence between tow groups. Also the relation between Situational and Characteristic anxiety in studied groups was significant (p<0.003). After intervention the emotional intelligence has a higher score than before intervention and anxiety status showed a lower status than before intervention in intervention group (p<0.001). Conclusion: Our results show an inverse significant relation between emotional intelligence score and anxiety status, so that nurses with training of emotional intelligence components have a lower anxiety status.

Background: prescribing drugs to patients is one of the parts of clinical care that may be associated with a high level of error can lead to some dangerous consequences for patients. This study aimed to determine the factors affecting the incidence of non-reporting of medical errors from the nursing staff’s perspective.
Materials and Methods: this cross-sectional descriptive survey was conducted on 400 nurses working in educational hospitals in Zahedan in 1393. Participants were enrolled to the study via Multi-stage sampling. Data analysis was done by means of SPSS version 16 using t-test and ANOVA and post hoc test of descriptive.
Results: the mean score for some factors influencing on non-reporting like fear of the consequences of reporting, management and reporting causes was (37/1±8/69), (13/9±3/60) and (9/42±2/50),respectively. In terms of causes of medication errors, the mean score for environmental component was (25/6±4 /44), management was (22/1±3/73) and nursing factor was (27/6± 4/45).
Conclusion: Drug Errors is one of the major issues in health care environments. Therefore, using a systematic approach to investigate the factors underlying and address these factors, as well as system design to increase reporting errors by nurses and enrichment programs for in-service training helps to reduce and control these errors.

Background and Purpose: Recent studies have revealed that stressors can originate from either disease or hospital environment, in cardiac patients, which are perceptible by nurses. However, it seems that nurses take actions by their perceptions when facing stressors. This Research was conducted to study and compare the perceptions of cardiac patients and nurses from stressors of disease and hospital environment at Vasee'e Hospital in Sabzevar, Iran.
Methods and Materials: In this cross-sectional descriptive- analytical study, nurses and patients admitted to the cardiology ware were considered as the study population, out of which 18 nurses doing rounds in this ward and 141 patients were included in the study. Patients were selected through convenient non- probability sampling. Personal information forms and stressors questionnaires (adapted from kanali 1992, Hikila 1999 and Voliser 1975) were given to both groups for data collection. Relevant data were analyzed using Mann whitney and chi- square.
