Background: Covid-19 has become one of the most important challenges to health care systems, causing various complications and death in severe cases. Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the complications of the Covid-19 disease in patients admitted to 16-hour centers in Sabzevar, Iran.Materials and Methods: The current research is descriptive-analytical, which investigated 220 patients selected by random sampling from among those admitted to the 16-hour centers for Covid-19 in 2022. After recording the patients’ information, verbal consent was obtained from them to join the study. Four weeks after the PCR test, they were asked some questions over the phone by a trained researcher and the questionnaires were instantly completed. Results: The results of the study showed that the remaining symptoms after recovery in the participants are physical fatigue (27.3%), weakness (14.1%), cough (23.6%), diarrhea (2.7%), mental fatigue (9.1%), anxiety (5%) and others. There was a statistically significant relationship between gender and residual complications from the Covid-19 disease. But there was no significant relationship between the recovery rate and anxiety symptoms such as restlessness and heart palpitation. Also, 40.5% of the patients had full recovery, 51.8% had moderate recovery and 0.9% had poor recovery. Conclusion: Patients with Covid-19 disease may recover from the disease but will face clinical manifestations and psychological disorders. Remote follow-up based on a telephone call program can be very useful in the management of recovered patients by establishing simple communication between patients and therapists.

Background: The emergency department is often associated with congestion and high workload. Emergency nurses usually experience situations that lead to moral challenges, and one of its consequences is moral distress, defined as the most important hidden job challenge among emergency nurses. This study was conducted with the aim of determining nurses’ level of moral distress and factors affecting it in the accidents and emergency department.Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 200 nurses working in the emergency department of hospitals in Semnan and Sabzevar, Iran. They were asked to complete the moral distress and demographic questionnaires by self-reporting. The data was analyzed with SPSS 22 using independent t-test and analysis of variance. Results: The mean age of the participants was 32.20 ± 7.2 years. The overall score of moral distress was 54.61 ± 10.1, which shows a low level of moral distress in these public hospitals. The lowest level of moral distress was related to high job satisfaction while the highest score of moral distress was related to unfavorable relationship between nurses and doctors. Conclusion: Considering the negative effects caused by moral distress on the quality of nursing care, it is necessary for managers of organizations to take necessary measures to identify the symptoms of moral distress in nurses and take a positive step towards reducing it by interventions and, as a result, increase the quality of services provided to patients.

Introduction: The emergent Covid-19 disease with conspicuous prevalence is putting the healthcare workers' job security at risk. The preventive behaviors in every individual have a close relationship with his/her risk perception of the risk factor. Hence the present study has been undertaken aiming at determining the Iranian healthcare workers' risk perception of the Covid-19 disease at the beginning of the crisis and the relevant effective factorsMaterials and Methods: This anonymous online survey was conducted in summer, 2020 using available sampling method among the Iranian healthcare workers. The data was collected via online-social networks using a researcher-made questionnaire containing demographical specifications, risk perceptions, with five sub-scales including cognitive, cultural, political, social and emotional factors. Data analysis was done in spss software 16.Results: From 165 participants, the age group (20-49 years) with 84% and the females with 60% constituted the majority of participants. The average risk perception score of the healthcare workers was 66.43±8.17. The Spearman correlation coefficient showed the significant direct relationship between the risk perception score and all the sub-scales at 0.01 significance level. The political and cultural factors had the highest correlation with the personnel risk perception (r > 0.75).Conclusion: At the beginning of the crisis, Health workers did not have an excellent risk perception of the emergent Covid-19 disease. It seems that at the onset of a crisis, training is necessary to increase the risk perception of employees.

Introduction: Today, discriminatory behaviors of health workers towards people with AIDS are common practices. The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of online micro-learning and brainstorming on nursing students' awareness about mistreatment of HIV/AIDS patients.
Materials and Methods: In this quasi-experimental study, 90 nursing students were selected and randomly assigned into three groups. After a pre-test of students’ knowledge about discriminatory behaviors, the first group was educated through online micro-learning method and the second group was educated through brainstorming in the skyroom. The control group did not receive any education. Finally, the post-test was done immediately in three groups.
Results: The results showed significant differences between pre-test and post-test of students’ knowledge in the online micro-learning(p=0.001) and online brainstorming (0.001) groups. But there was no difference in the control group (p=0.125). Also, after education, a significant difference was seen between the mean scores of knowledges in three groups (p=0.001). The post-hoc tests showed significant differences between control, brainstorming (p=0.003) and micro-learning groups (p=0.009), but there was no difference between brainstorming and micro-learning groups.
Conclusion: Findings showed that the both online teaching methods, micro-learning and brainstorming, could increase students’ awareness of discriminatory behaviors towards HIV/AIDS patients. Considering the importance of virtual education due to Coronavirus pandemic, it is suggested to use these two online methods to enhance students’ knowledge.

Introduction: Background and objectives: As research is the building block of education development, the study of research methods is important for improving the quality of research. Among different research methods, content analysis has gained particular significance; however, it has not yet been clearly examined in terms of its features and techniques. To fill this gap, the present article was an attempt to seek experts’ views on this issue.
Materials and Methods: This study was a non-systematic narrative review article. First, books and searches of previous studies were used in scientific information databases abroad: PubMed, Scopus Web of Science, Science Direct Google scholar, between 1940 and 2022 with the keywords Content, Analysis, Qualitative content analysis, Quantitative content analysis and also used, Keyword content analysis, qualitative method, qualitative content analysis, quantitative content analysis in databases, MagIran, SID, Iranmedex, Irandoc. Then, 21 related articles were identified and reviewed.
Results: Based on the findings of the current study, there are particular techniques for conducting content analysis research distinguishing it from other research methods. Besides, findings of the study revealed that challenges among experts about the content analysis research method is partly due to its history and its evolution over the time and also it is related to the very highly flexible nature of this research method.
Conclusion: Content analysis is an independent scientific research method in which the researcher makes use of qualitative processes to describe and summarize data for making inferences and finding a conceptual framework and finally formulating a theory.

Introduction: Peritoneal dialysis is a convenient and cost-effective way to replace kidney function in patients with kidney failure. Nevertheless, in Iran, a very small percentage of patients with kidney failure use peritoneal dialysis, the reasons for which are less known. This study is to explain the experiences of Iranian patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis regarding the decision to choose a kidney replacement treatment method.
Materials and Methods: 18 peritoneal dialysis patients living in four provinces of Iran participated in this qualitative study.
Results: The analysis of the text of the interviews led to the emergence of four main categories: the first category, under the title "Compulsion to choose", includes two sub-categories: "Lack of alternatives" and "Indifference to the patient's preferences", the second category is titled "Insufficient health literacy". It includes two subcategories of information poverty and limited access to reliable information, the "culture ruling the treatment system" category, which itself includes two subgroups of preference for the physician’s opinion and disregard for the patient's bill of rights, and finally the social support category, which includes family support, treatment staff assistance and the support was procedural.
Conclusion: Considering all the factors, the culture of the region and the treatment of the patient and if needed by his family, considering the chronic nature of the disease and the constant involvement of the patient's family in this process, providing sufficient and reliable information and creating access.

Introduction: Considering the importance of recognizing individual changes in old age and the special importance of retirement satisfaction, this study was conducted to determine the relationship between cognitive ability of retirees from individual change and retirement satisfaction in great Torshiz.
Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional descriptive-analytical study was conducted in 1399 on 330 randomly selected retirees in Kashmar city. Data were collected using demographic, retirement satisfaction and cognitive ability of individual changes questionnaires. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics with SPSS software version 16.
Results: The mean age of participants was 62, 05+4,13. Retirement satisfaction was 20.27±76.29. Retirement satisfaction was significantly associated with marital status, age, income, type of property, study, entertainment, sports, television watching (P <0.05). The mean cognitive ability of retirees was 5.60±36.14, that the degree of cognitive ability was related to factors such as the number of hours spent watching TV and the type of illness involved (P <0.05). Statistical test did not show a significant relationship between retirement satisfaction and cognitive ability (P = 0.16).
Conclusion: Because most of the retirees had poor cognitive ability, it seems necessary to improve the cognitive ability of retirees in the last years of their careers. There was no relationship between cognitive ability and retirement satisfaction, which may be due to the region under study. Therefore, it is recommended to re-study in another environment to evaluate this relationship.

Introduction: Conflict is a phenomenon that has positive and negative effects on the performance of individuals and organizations. This study aimed to investigate the effect of implementing a conflict management program on job conflict and nurses' conflict resolution styles. Methods: This experimental-interventional and before-after study was performed on 60 nurses in the Kamyab Hospital of Mashhad, Iran, in 2020. A conflict management workshop was held for the intervention group for 6 hours. Then, one week after the workshop, two intra-departmental sessions were held. In both intervention and control groups, Dubrin Job Conflict Questionnaires and Thomas-Kilman conflict mode instrument were completed at the beginning, fifteen days, and one month after the end of the inpatient sessions. Data were analyzed using SPSS software version 16.Results: Fifteen days and one month after the intervention, the mean score of job conflict in the intervention group significantly decreased compared to the control group and before the intervention (p = 0.003, p = 0.008, and p<0.001, respectively). Implementing a conflict management program increased the tendency to use a collaborative style compared to the control group (p = 0.02). Tendency to this style in the intervention group increased fifteen days and one month after the workshop compared to before the course (p <0.001).Conclusion: Findings showed that the implementation of conflict management programs for nurses leads to a reduction in job conflicts among them. Further studies are suggested to explain the role of conflict management program implementation in the functioning of the health system.

Introduction: Compliance of patients in need of liver transplantation is impaired due to many reasons, and this affects the pre and post outcomes and complications of transplantation. Therefore, the aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of a care program on the compliance of patients awaiting liver transplantation.
Materials and Methods: This quasi-experimental study was conducted in 2018 on 117 patients waiting liver transplantation in Imam Khomeini Hospital of Tehran. Based on entry criteria, the samples were selected purposefully and their compliance was evaluated. Then, a care program was implemented for them. The data collection tool was a compliance questionnaire, which was completed before and six weeks after the intervention. Data analysis was done by SPSS software.
Results: The results showed that, the compliance of diet and medication improved after the implementation of care program in patients waiting for liver transplantation (P<0.01). But there was no significant relationship with physical activity.
Conclusion: The results of this study indicated a positive effect of the care program on improving the compliance of diet and medication in patients awaiting liver transplantation. Eliminating the problems of these patients requires the attention and support of planners and the cooperation of managers in order to develop care programs that can be used by healthcare professionals, especially nurses.
