Background and objectives: Mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder suffer from stress, anxiety and depression. The aim of this study was to determine the Mindfulness-Based Positive Behavior Support on stress, depression and anxiety of these mothers.Methods: Thirty mothers with children aged 6-8 years old with autism spectrum disorder were selected randomly from Gorgan Special Schools and were randomly divided into 2 groups of intervention and control. An expert psychiatrist educated MBPBS to the intervention group in 8 sessions. The assessment tools included the Perceived Stress Scale, Beck Depression and Anxiety Inventory, completed by all mother before, immediately and one month after the intervention. Independent t-test was used to compare the two groups. Results: Before intervention, mean scores of depression, anxiety and stress in mothers of autistic children were not significantly different between the intervention and control groups, but the mean scores of the two groups were significantly different after intervention and one month after the intervention; mean scores of depression, anxiety and stress of mothers of autistic children did not change significantly in the control group over time, but decreased significantly in the intervention group (P

Introduction: Gratitude, as a positive factor, can help enrich and strengthen relationships between couples. The aim of this study was testing a model of the relationships gratitude, marital relationship quality, and marital satisfaction.
Materials and Methods: The statistical population included all married female teachers of Sabzevar city in 1396. The statistical sample was 241 participants who were selected using the random sampling method. The data collection was performed using the ENRICH Marital Satisfaction (EMS), Gratitude Questionnaire-6 (GQ-6), perceived Relationship Quality. Amos -24 and SPSS -24 software packages were applied for data analysis. Bootstrap in Preacher and Hayes’ Macro program was used for testing mediation.
Results: Results indicated that the model with some modification had a good fit with the data. The gratitude had a positive direct effect on marital satisfaction and marital relationship quality (p<0.05). Marital relationship quality had a positive direct effect on marital satisfaction (p<0.05). The gratitude had the positive indirect effect on marital satisfaction via marital relationship quality (p<0.05).
Conclusion: Gratitude, directly and indirectly, through increased marital relationship quality, is associated with higher marital satisfaction. This study shows a stage into a better understanding of positive processes that can protect couples against marital dissatisfaction, and that can assist counselors to help couples in attaining and keeping the marital satisfaction. Background and objectives: Low quality of life and high stress are the most frequently stated problems that faced by in mothers of children with autism spectrum disorders. This research aims to understand the role of emotion regulation and personality traits as predictors of quality of life and general health in a sample of mothers of children diagnosed with autistic spectrum disorders.Materials & Methods: This study was a descriptive-correlation design. It was done in Tehran in 1396.Eighty mothers participated through convenient sampling. Mothers answered a questionnaire on Emotion Regulation Strategies, General Health, Five-Factor Inventory (brief form), Who-Quality of life. Data was analyzed by SPSS-23. Stepwise regression analysis was used to analyze the data.Results: Results show that the emotion regulation strategies as repression and personality traits like extroversion and neurosis predict general health and quality of life in mothers. Results were significant at the p = 0.05 level.Conclusion: Our results indicated the significant role of emotion regulation strategies and personality traits in general health and quality of life. Developing interventions in emotion regulation could be help to improve mother’s general health. Hence the design of studies in the field of setting up the excitement of mothers and strengthen positive personality characteristics, such as the extroversion can improve the quality of life and general health.

Introduction: Epilepcy is a chronic and neurological disease. The aim of this study was to determain the effectiveness of computer gamesbased on visual skills on visual perception and concentration of children with epilepsy disorder.
Materials and Methods: This is a quasi-experimental study with pretest and post-test design with control group. The statistical population of this study was all children with epilepsy disorders referring to the epilepsy disorder treatment center in Mashhad. The sample was 30 these individuals have been selected and voluntarily selected according to the criteria and randomly divided into two experimental and control groups. The tools used in this research were the computer focus test (COG) (2012) and the Frostheit Visual Perception Test (1982). Finally, the data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics using covariance analysis. For this purpose, SPSS-24 software was used.
Results: The results showed that there was a significant difference between the mean post-test scores of visual perception (P <0.01) and concentration (P0.05) after elimination of pre-test. The mean score of the post-test group was significantly more than the control group, which meant that the use of computer games in visual skills increased visual perception and concentration.
Conclusion: The results showed that the use of computer games in visual skills increased visual perception, and concentration on the experimental group in the post-test phase, compared with the control group.

Background: The main aim of the present study was investigating the effect of metacognitive therapy based on mindfulness on negative emotion regulation strategies and emotional processing in people with general anxiety disorder.
Materials & Methods: This was a semi-experimental research and in this research project, 30 person with general anxiety disorder were selected from Tehran Nedaye Aramesh Ravan clinic’s clients using purposeful sampling. All subjects, in two experimental and control groups, were evaluated before and after treatment by Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire and Emotional Processing Scale. Subjects in experimental group received 8 session of metacognitive therapy based on mindfulness. After completion of treatment, all subjects were retested. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Covariance (MANCOVA).
Results: The results showed that there is a significant difference between experimental and control group in improving the negative emotion regulation strategies and emotional processing (P≤0/0005).
Conclusion: The results of this study showed that metacognitive therapy based on mindfulness can decrease negative emotion regulation strategies and emotional processing in people with general anxiety disorder.

Introduction: Inappropriate emotional reactions such as anxiety and depression is very evident in today’s societies, affecting and causing too many problems for nurses, then effect on the quality of providing health cares. According to the nurses' exposure to mental health disorders, the purpose of the present research is to study empathy moderating role in relationship between psychological capital with depression and anxiety of nurses.
Materials and Methods: This research is an exploratory research of correlation plans. Based on Morgan Table were selected 217 subjects of employed nurses (100 male and 117 female) as hospitals of Sabzevar in spring 2018 by available sampling. In order to obtain data, Luthans et al (2007), psychological capital questionnaire, Baron-Cohen empathy(2003), and Anxiety and Depression Scale of Zigmond and Snaith Hospital (1983),were used. Data were analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficient and multivariate regression analyses by SPSS-22 software.
Results: Findings of the present research showed that there are negative significant relationship between psychological capital and hospital of anxiety and depression of nurses (p<0.01). also empathy is mediating role in relationship between psychological capital and clinical symptoms of anxiety and depression(p<0.01).
Conclusion: According to the findings of the research, it can be concluded that empathy can be mediated relationship psychological capital and hospital clinical symptoms of depression and anxiety.

AbstractBackground and aim: spatial memory is one of the cognitive abilities that plays an important role in our daily life. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of disease diabetes type 1 on spatial memory, taking into account the role of modulation rumination in adolescents.Materials and Methods: A sample of 80 people (40 healthy and 40 patients) were selected through a sampling method. After collecting the rumination questionnaire, subjects were tested by assignment test of Curci blocks for spatial memory assessment. After collecting the data, the data were analyzed using SPSS software using multiple covariance analysis.Results: The effect of diabetes and rumination on spatial memory was not significant (P = 0.001); there was no significant difference between the interactions of rumination and type 1 diabetes.Conclusion: Disease diabetes mellitus did not affect spatial memory. Also, high rumination did not interfere with spatial memory function.

AbstractBackground and Aim Self-harm is defined as a deliberate act of self-harm without thinking of suicide. The purpose of this study was to investigate the Mentalization Based Therapy on increasing the quality of family relationships and reducing their self-harm behavior in adolescent girls.Materials and Methods This research was a pretest-posttest-interventional pattern with control group. The statistical population of the study consisted of all adolescent girls from Avan in 2017-18. Of these, 30 available samples were selected and randomly divided into two experimental and control groups. The intervention included 8 training sessions on the Mentalization Based Therapy. Reading the Mind in the Eyes Test, Quality of relationship inventory and Deliberate Self-Harm Inventory were used. Data were analyzed using covariance analysis and Chi square test.Results showed that there is a significant difference between the mean quality of family relationships and the mentality of the experimental and control group (P P).Conclusion A positive change in mentalization and improvement in family relationships can reduce self-harm. The results of the research are based on the Mentalization Based Therapy of the quality of family relationships and self-harm behavior in adolescent girls.

Background and Objective: Achieving a healthy community depends on the health of the healthy family, provided that people have mental health and have good relationships with each other. Hence, healthy relationships between family members will certainly have positive effects. Important factors will always be the source of stress. This research aims to determine the role of mediating force Psychology was about satisfaction with life with personality traits and social problem solving styles. Method: The statistical population of this study was married people who were referred to the neighborhood of Tehran in 2012, 308 people were selected by multi-stage cluster sampling in one and four regions. And personalization features such as SPSI-R, Life satisfaction (LSI), and Ranjara Force's questionnaire.Findings: Based on the results of path analysis, most of the direct coefficients are significant and the indirect coefficients of coping style, stability, flexibility, independence, sensitivity and association with life satisfaction are significant through the variable of mental force. Also, the direct coefficients of the median variable with the main dependent variable of the model, life satisfaction, are also significant at the level of 0.01.Discussion: The results showed that levels of life satisfaction are not just a secondary phenomenon, which is a product of the positive experiences of life or personality characteristics, and so on.

The current study was conducted aimed at investigating the effectiveness Melissa officinalis and Lavandula angustifolia in anxiety of Oil Company employees in Sabzevar. 45 subjects (6 females and 39 males in the age group of 30 to 45 years) with a high level of anxiety were selected through purposive sampling method and were randomly assigned into 3 groups of 15 people, including two experimental groups (Melissa officinalis and Lavandula angustifolia) and one control group. Members of the experimental groups consumed 5 drops from the concentrated extract of these two herbs (manufactured by Zardband Pharmaceutical Company) twice a day for 5 days, which were orally prescribed. 15 subjects in the control group did not take any medication. The present study was conducted with the aim of studying the effect of cognitive-mindedness-based therapy on executive function and reducing symptoms of oppositional defiant disorder in children was conducted.Materials and Methods:The research method is a semi-experimental with pre-test and post-test with control group. The statistical population consisted of all male students withOppositional Defiant disorder aged 11-15 year-old in Gorgan city in 1396, Out of which 30 of them were selected using available sampling method and then randomly assigned to two groups (15 people) and control group (15). The research tool includes the Child Health Inventory(CSI-4) Parent Formand Neuropsychological Questionnaire. The statistical population of the study consisted of every high schools students in Lorestan province, Iran. 300 adolescents [155 boys, 145 girls] were selected through multiple cluster sampling method. The data were collected through Scott and Bruce decision making styles questionnaire (DMSQ), Kovacs and Beck children's depression inventory (CDI) and Muris self-efficacy questionnaire-children (SEQ-S). Background: Depression is of paramount importance to people with chronic internal diseases.One of these diseases is type 2 diabetes. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of depression in diabetic patients.Materials and Methods: This descriptive-analytic cross-sectional study was performed on 384 diabetic patients.These subjects were selected randomly from among all type 2 diabetic patients referring to the diabetes clinic in the winter of 2016.Data was collected using questionnaire containing general information and 21 questions for depression diagnosis. A score above 16 is indicative of depression symptoms. Statistical analysis was performed by SSPS software )version 9( with non-parametric Chi-square index.The results of the prevalence of depression among 108 male and 276 female diabetic patients showed that 25% of men and 75% of women were depressed.Results: The results of examining the variables of gender, family size, marital status, educational level, occupation, income, and duration of diagnosis on depression showed that depression in men and women significantly depends on the aforementioned factors. With the values of (p = 0/02, p =0/00, p = 0/006, p = 0/00, p = 0/00, p = 0/00, p =0/00) ,respectively. There was no significant difference in the prevalence of depression and the age of the patients(p =0/4).Conclusion: Depression is very common in diabetic patients, so psychiatric counseling is recommended for depression in diabetic patients.

Background & Objectives: the main goal of The purpose of this study was to determine the difference social anxiety, suicidal ideation and social support between people with transsexual has done gender reassignment and has not do gender reassignment. Materials and Methods: This is a causal-comparative study. The statistical population included all members of the transsexual has done gender reassignment and has not do gender reassignment Association for the Support of Iranian Nursing Patients in Tehran in 2018 (N = 249). 60 subjects (30 transsexuals has changed gender and 30 has not changed gender) were selected in an accessible method and completed the Conner social anxiety Inventory, Beck Suicidal Thoughts, and Sherburne & Stewart Social Support. Data were analyzed by multivariate analysis of variance analysis using SPSS version 24.0 at the level of 0.05.Results: The results showed that there is a significant difference between people with transsexual has done gender reassignment and has not do gender reassignment in terms of social anxiety, suicidal thoughts and social support (P ≤ 0.01). In this way, transsexual has done gender reassignment gained higher scores in social support and transsexual has not do gender reassignment have higher scores in social anxiety and suicidal ideation.Conclusion: Based on the findings of the study, it can be concluded that transsexual has done gender reassignment group are more likely to seek social support, but, social anxiety and cognitive anxiety are higher in transsexual has not do gender reassignment group.

To measure the variables of research, the mindfulness questionnaire (Bauer and colleague, 2006), quality of life questionnaire (WHO, 1996), and NEO questionnaire of neurosis (Casta and Maccarry, 1992) were used. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and stepwise multiple regressions.Findings: The results showed that there is a significant positive relationship between mindfulness with quality of life. Also, there is a significant negative relationship between neuroticism with quality of life. Regarding the amount of beta of non-judgment (Beta= 0.249), neuroticism with beta coefficient (Beta = 0.588), conscious action with beta coefficient (Beta = 0.286) and observation with beta coefficient (Beta = 0.151) are the most powerful variables to predict the quality of life of diabetic patients.Conclusion: According to research findings, it seems that improving the mindfulness in diabetic patients, will increase the quality of life and decrease the neurosis.

Background: Evidence suggests that considering the type of heart disease diagnosis, people's quality of life can be different; Therefore, the aim of this study was to compare the quality of life in patients with acute myocardial infarction, heart failure and normal in 2014. Martials and Methods: This descriptive study was which 100 patients with heart disease - cardiovascular (50 patients with acute myocardial infarction and 50 patients with heart failure) and 50 normal people who were matched in terms of demographic characteristics of patients In 2014 the sampling were selected. Information collected by (QOL) questionnaire at a significant level of 0.05 and univariate analysis of variance were analyzed using SPSS version 20.Results: According to the findings, among heart patients and normal subjects there is a significant difference between quality of life (P=0.001); so patients with acute myocardial infarction and heart failure have lower scores in terms of quality of life than normal people. Also, no significant differences was observed in quality of life with acute myocardial infarction and heart failure (P=0.670). Conclusion: Due to differences in the quality of life for heart patients and normal people, education and awareness of heart disease in these categories seem to be necessary

Considering that different therapies have been used to relieve the symptoms of this disorder, the purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of cognitive-educational teaching on verbal self-learning on social interactions, anxiety and autonomy of these children. Materials and Methods: This is a semi-experimental research. The statistical population of this study was all children with attention deficit / hyperactivity disorder, of which 30 were selected from clients referring to Sabzevar Counseling and Psychology Clinic and completely Randomized in both experimental and control groups. Background and Purpose: Quality of Working Life is a critical concept with great importance in the life of an employee which shows an appropriate balance between work and personal life, ensuring or organizational productivity and employee’s job satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of group training of assertiveness on improvement in the quality of work life of Khatam-ol-Anbia hospital staff.Materials and Method: The method of this study is terms of purpose was applied and in term of data collection method was pseudo experimental and designed was pretest-posttest with control group. The sample of the study included 30 employees who were voluntary selected and randomly divided into control and experimental groups (each of them 15 people) .assertiveness skills were applied as the independent variable on the experimental group. The data collection tool was the Walton Quality of Work Life questionnaire. The Data were analyzed with analysis of covariance. Results: The results suggested that there is a difference between experimental and control groups after performing the intervention. In other words, the use of group training assertiveness has enhanced quality of work life among the employees in the post-test (p< 0.05).Conclusion: It seems quality of work life is an important issue in the Workplace. Organizations can use group training assertiveness and self-expression in order to improve the quality of work life and increase employees’ satisfaction.

Background: How to cope with life stressors affects the quality of life of female headed households. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the Stress immunization program on coping with stress, emotion regulation and mental health in female-headed households were covered by welfare organization. Materials and Methods: This quasi-experimental research with pretest – posttest and control group design. 48 women covered city Khomeini Welfare Organization, which of these, randomly into two experimental and control groups were replaced. Data collected using of coping strategies, emotion regulation and General Health (GHQ-28) questionnaires, and the results were analyzed using Multivariate and analysis of covariance. Results: The results showed that Stress immunization program makes greater use of positive coping strategies such as problem-focused coping and emotion-focused coping is used less as a short-term strategies. Also, reassessment strategy at posttest in the experimental group was significantly higher than the scores of the control group and the strategy of repression in the posttest in the experimental group showed negative, also, results showing reduce symptoms of somatic, anxiety and insomnia, social dysfunction and depression in household women. Conclusion: Based on the findings, it can be said that Stress immunization program is a multi-dimensional program and affect thoughts, emotions and behaviors in people and with factors such as cognitive restructuring, search for meaning, relaxation exercises and positive thinking, can have a significant impact on improving people mental health.

Background: Peptic ulcers is a common psycho- physiologic disease among students. The aim of the present study was to experiment of the effectiveness of Mindfulness Based on Stress Reduction on anxi-ety sensitivity and impulsivity among Shahid Chamran university of Ahvaz students with peptic ulcers. Materials and Methods: Through a quasi-experimental design with the pre-test, post-test and follow-up with the control group, a total number of 24 BA level students with peptic ulcers were selected through available sampling and divided to [12 experimental group] and [12 control group]. The experimental group received eight ses-sions of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction through two 120-minute sessions per week. The instruments applied comprised Baret Impul-sivity Scale [BIS-11] and Anxiety Sensitivity Index [ASI], which were answered in three phases, namely prior to the treatment, after the treatment and one-month follow-up. Results: The results of Multivariate covariance showed that Mindful-ness-Base Stress Reduction reduces the impulsivity ( F= 8.80, p= 0.001) and anxiety sensitivity ( F= 5.62 , p= 0.02) in the experimental group compared with the control group, in posttest.Conclusion: Considering the efficacy of this treatment on impulsivity and anxiety sensitivity, we suggested that Mindfulness Based on Stress Reduction with other medical treatment operate for peptic ul-cers.

Background and Aim: Regarding the role of psychological factors and lifestyle in the etiology of heart disease, this research was conducted with the aim of investigating and comparing the personality type D, psychological hardiness, failure tolerance and perfectionism in cardiac and normal patients in Khorramabad city.Methods: This study is a case-retrospective study. Which compares to personality type D, psychological hardiness, failure, and perfectionism in cardiac and normal patients. The statistical population included all patients with coronary heart disease referred to cardiovascular clinics in Khorramabad city, in which 64 patients volunteered to participate in the study. Also, 64 normal people matched them in terms of age and gender. To measure the variables, personality type D questionnaire, Ahwaz psychological hardiness and perfectionism scale, and Harrington's failure tolerance scale were used. Data were analyzed using multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA)Findings: The results of this study showed that there is a significant difference between cardiac patients and normal people in terms of personality type D, psychological hardiness, failure tolerance and perfectionism. Cardiac patients have lower tolerance and lower psychological hardiness, and mean score of personality type D and higher perfectionism.Conclusion: According to the results of the research, it can be said that personality type D, psychological hardiness, tolerance of failure, and perfectionism act as important variables that influence the development or prevention of heart disease.
