چکیده

اهداف پرستاران نقش مهمی درمراقبت از بیماران در مراحل انتهایی زندگی دارند و نگرش آن‌ها نسبت به اتانازی از اهمیت خاصی برخورداراست . لذا هدف این مطالعه بررسی نگرش پرستاران شاغل در بیمارستان‌های وابسته به دانشگاه علوم پزشکی زاهدان به اتانازی است.
مواد و روش ها این مطالعه، پژوهشی از نوع توصیفی- مقطعی بود که طی آن 157پرستار از بخش‌های انکولوژی و مراقبت ویژة داخلی و جراحی بیمارستان‌های آموزشی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی زاهدان در سال 1393واردمطالعه شدند. ابزارگردآوری داده‌ها، پرسشنامۀ دوقسمتی شامل اطلاعات دموگرافیکی پرستاران و مقیاس نگرش به اتانازی (EAS) بود. برای تجزیه وتحلیل داده‌ها از SPSS17 و آزمون‌های توصیفی (فراوانی، درصد، میانگین و انحراف معیار) و تحلیلی (آنووا و تی تست) استفاده شد.
یافته ها بر اساس نتایج حاصل از پژوهش حاضر اکثریت پرستاران 66% نمره کمتر از 75 (از 150 امتیاز) را کسب کردند که نشان‌دهنده نگرش منفی به انجام اتانازی است و در مقابل 34% پرستاران نمره بالای 75 را کسب کردند که نشان‌دهنده نگرش مثبت به انجام اتانازی است.
نتیجه گیری نتایج حاصل از پژوهش حاضر نشان داد که بیش از نیمی ازپرستاران دربارة اتانازی دیدگاه منفی دارند، با وجود عدم ارتباط معنی‌داری بین واحدهای پژوهش و متغیرهای دموگرافیک، نیازمند بررسی سایر متغیرهای مداخله‌گر نظیر آگاهی و عملکرد و نقش پرستاران خواهد بود.

چکیده [English]

Backgrounds Since nurses play important role in taking care of end-stage patients, it is important to consider their attitudes toward euthanasia. The current study aimed at examining the attitudes of nurses working in Zahedan University of Medical Sciences, Zahedan, Iran, toward euthanasia.
Methods & Materials The current cross sectional study enrolled 157 nurses working in the teaching hospitals affiliated to Zahedan University of Medical Sciences in 2014.
Data were gathered using the euthanasia attitude scale (EAS) and a demographic data short-form. The data were analyzed using the statistical tests by SPSS version 17.
Results Results of the current study showed that 34% and 66% of the nurses had negative and positive attitudes toward euthanasia, respectively.
Conclusion The results of the study showed that most of the nurses had negative viewpoint on euthanasia. Thereby, no significant relationship was observed between the results of EAS and demographic variables ; further studies should be conducted focusing other variable such as knowledge, function, and role of the nurses.
