چکیده

اهداف سندرم متابولیک خطر بیماری­‌های قلبی‌عروقی و دیابت را افزایش می‌­دهد. تغییرات شیوه­ زندگی به‌­خصوص رژیم غذایی از مسائل مهم در پیشگیری و درمان این سندرم است. مطالعه حاضر با هدف شناسایی موانع مرتبط با نگرش تغذیه‌­ای افراد مبتلا به سندرم متابولیک انجام گرفته است.
مواد و روش ها این مطالعه به­‌صورت کیفی انجام شد. در مجموع شش بحث گروهی متمرکز در ماه‌­های فروردین تا خرداد 1392 در کلینیک تخصصی بیمارستان امام‌خمینی(ره) شهر مهاباد انجام گرفت. شرکت­‌کنندگان این مطالعه شامل 36 مرد و زن متأهل با سطوح تحصیلی مختلف در سنین 20 تا 50 سال بودند که براساس معیار فدراسیون بین‌­المللی دیابت، مبتلا به سندرم متابولیک بودند و مطابق نمونه‌­گیری هدف‌­دار انتخاب شدند. اطلاعات به‌­دست آمده از بحث­‌های گروهی متمرکز ضبط شد و بلافاصله روی کاغذ نگاشته شد. برای تحلیل نتایج مصاحبه­‌ها از روش تحلیل محتوا استفاده شد.
یافته ها براساس تجزیه‌وتحلیل داده‌ها، موانع مرتبط با نگرش تغذیه‌­ای افراد مبتلا به سندرم متابولیک شناسایی و دسته‌­بندی شد که شامل ارتباط تغذیه و اجزای سندرم متابولیک، چربی­‌ها و روغن­‌ها، نمک، لبنیات، غلات، نوشیدنی­‌های قندی و شیرینی­‌جات، گوشت و درنهایت وعده­‌های غذایی و میان‌وعده­‌ها بود.
نتیجه گیری نتایج این مطالعه موانع مرتبط با نگرش تغذیه‌­ای افراد مبتلا به سندرم متابولیک را نشان می‌­دهد که می­‌تواند در طراحی برنامه­‌های آموزش تغذیه به بیماران مدنظر قرار گیرد و در پیشگیری از عوارض متعاقب این سندرم نیز مؤثر باشد.

چکیده [English]

Background Metabolic syndrome is associated with increased risk of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes. Lifestyle changes, especially with regard to diet, have an important role in prevention and treatment of this syndrome. This study was designed to identify barriers related to nutritional attitudes changes among patients with metabolic syndrome.
Materials & Methods This is a qualitative study in which 6 semi-structured focus group discussions were conducted at outpatient department of main general hospital of Mahabad from April to June 2013. A total of 36 married men and women with different levels of education aged 20-50 years with metabolic syndrome, diagnosed based on International Diabetes Federation criteria, were chosen by purposeful sampling method. Focus group discussions data were audio recorded and transcribed. Thematic analysis method was used for the analysis of the study data.
Results Based on data analysis, barriers related to nutritional attitudes changes among patients with metabolic syndrome identified and classified in main themes were as follows: metabolic syndrome components relationship to nutrition, fats and oils, salt, dairy products, cereals, sugary drinks and sweets, meat, and finally meals and snacks.
Conclusion Study results showed barriers related to nutritional attitudes in patients with metabolic syndrome could facilitate the designing of nutrition education programs and use in preventing metabolic syndrome consequences.
